Our Present:

Saman Exports is a company based on the structure of a sole proprietorship. We source our raw materials from trusted suppliers domestically and across the world. Our sister concern tannery processes the raw leather to produce finished leather that match our customer’s requirements. We have 70 skilled and semi-skilled labors in house and directly controlled job work units, with their expertise of craftsmanship we produce finely tuned leather goods and accessories. As a member of the CLE (Council of Leather Exports) which is functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India our products are exported to renowned brands in Sweden, United Kingdom, Australia and other countries. Our various production facilities give us a continued output of 3000 bags by our Chennai factory and 5000 wallets by our Kolkata factory per month.

Our Legacy:

Saman Exports is a family run business which is currently transitioning into its second generation of leather & leather products manufacturing. The company was founded by Dilshad Ahmed in 1995, who is currently the founder and CEO of the firm. Prior to Saman Exports, his ancestors were involved in the trade of various types of raw leather, this helped Dilshad understand the leather trade and drew him towards starting his own manufacturing unit of various leather products.
